IBMS History Week
IBMS are introducing a history week to celebrate their rich history of supporting healthcare since 1912.
To kick-start the event for the first time, the theme is concentrating on the NHS which marks its 70th birthday later this year. Since its founding in 1948, the IBMS (then known as the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology) has supported NHS laboratory science staff.
Working in collaboration with NHS 70, IBMS are collecting stories from their members to share their experiences of working in the NHS.
