Our Role

Having the role of Honorary Fellows allows the Academy to use the collective experience, knowledge, understanding and opinion of a group of incredible Healthcare Scientists that have been nominated through Professional Bodies Council for their dedication and outstanding contribution.

The Honorary Fellows also help to advise on a range of Healthcare Science issues, like:

• Workforce
• Education and training
• Regulation and registration
• Statements on healthcare issues related to Healthcare Science
• Healthcare consultations.

Having these incredible Healthcare Scientists, nominated through Professional Bodies Council, is an important resource to keep us working for our registrants, patients and public, by having a pool of experience and knowledge to hand.
