The Diagnostics Advisory Committee considers and interprets evidence on the clinical and cost effectiveness of diagnostic technologies as defined in the relevant directives, and formulates recommendations to the Institute on their use in the . Diagnostic technologies within the Committee’s remit include pathological tests, imaging, endoscopy and physiological measurement.
Applications are particularly sought from Healthcare Scientists working in physiology, medical physics or clinical engineering, as there is already strong representation from doctors and pathology specialisms on the committee.
Advisory Committee meetings are held on a monthly basis in central Manchester.are looking to recruit individuals who would be available from April 2015 onwards.
