Launch workshop for PSQIP (Physical Sciences Quality Improvement Programme) – London, 9 Jan 14

The launch workshop for PSQIP (the Physical Science Quality Improvement Programme) will be held from 9:30am to 3:30pm on 9 Jan 2014 at The Wesley conference centre, 81-103 Euston Street, London NW1 2EZ

The workshop – run jointly between the Academy and IPEM (the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine) will take forward the development work around PSQIP, bringing together a range of stakeholders from Physical Sciences & Engineering and beyond.

The event will discuss the importance and operation of accreditations schemes in Healthcare Science and will hear from the learning of the IQIPS (Improving Quality in Physiological Science) programme.

Sir Mike Richards, Chief Inspector of Hospitals, has recently stated that the CQC will draw upon the work of Healthcare Science accreditation schemes, such as PSQIP and IQIPS, in future hospital inspections.
