This is an exciting and challenging new post where the post holder will provide professional leadership across Scotland’s Healthcare Science workforce and service delivery. Support and advice will be given to the Chief Health Professions Officer, the Chief Nursing Officer and the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Sport on matters that relate to Healthcare Science.
The post holder will provide professional leadership across a portfolio of work that will deliver the policy and development priorities for Healthcare Scientists in Scotland including links with the quality agenda set out in the NHS Quality Strategy, the National Clinical Strategy, the National Delivery Plan for Healthcare Science, and the Modernising Scientific Careers agenda.
