The HEE/NIHR ICA Programme have issued an June 2015 update newsletter which provides a particular information on the internship and masters  elements of the programme.

ICA Internships are designed to offer a short introduction to all aspects and roles across clinical academic research from trial design, data management through to undertaking practical research in a clinical environment. HEE is preparing to start a new wave of recruitment for internships later this summer. More information can be obtained from the HEE team at HEE.RI@nhs.net.

The programme has also announced the 10 universities that will be offering the Masters element – with fully-funded courses (included salary backfill) which can be taken full-time over one year or part time over 2 years.

The ICA has also produced a short promotional video (below) to promote the benefits of the ICA programme.
