Government updates guidance on lab testing for Ebola

Public Health England has updated its guidance on laboratory sample testing and on infection control for suspected Viral Haemorragic Fever (VHF) patients, such as that caused by Ebola virus.

The summary guidance, published on 20 Aug 2014,  includes details on the handling of laboratory samples, the appropriate level of protective measures and the suitability of various forms of lab test equipment.
