Who Accredits Our Register
The Professional Standards Authority (PSA) accredits the Academy of Healthcare Science Register under the Accredited Registers Programme.
The programme exists to produce an option for professional registration for those Healthcare Professionals who are not required by law to be registered (Non statutory), with the appropriate regulator to practice.

PSA Registrant’s Mark – Public
Registrant’s on the Academy for Healthcare Science’s (AHCS) Professional Standards Authority (PSA) accredited Register can use the PSA quality Mark. You may see it on Letterheads, Websites, letters and leaflets for example.
The PSA quality Mark means that the AHCS register that the professional is on has met the PSA’s Standards which demonstrates their commitment to good practice and professionalism.
For professionals, being registered sends out a clear message that they are also committed to delivering quality care to patients and service users.
The quality Mark looks like the picture below and should appear next to the Registrant’s own logo or Information:
