Purpose of a Community of Interest
Establishing an AHCS Community of Interest provides a foundational step in defining a group and enabling the development of professional identity. The AHCS do this by providing a platform through which good practice and education standards can be promoted as well as seeking stakeholder feedback.
A Community of Interest can act as a ‘pre-registration’ space with the potential to develop into an accredited register if sufficiently supported by those eligible to join.
