The Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) invites contributions from the healthcare science community to a consultation on the Higher Specialist Scientist Equivalence (HSSE) Programme.
This consultation represents a critical opportunity to ensure that the HSSE process continues to reflect the evolving scope of practice, leadership responsibilities, and professional expectations of senior healthcare scientists. Feedback obtained will inform refinements to the programme, ensuring alignment with contemporary clinical, academic, and leadership standards across the UK healthcare science workforce.
