The Team
Lizanne Steenkamp
Head of Accreditation
Lizanne Steenkamp is the AHCS Head of Accreditation with a remit to oversee the accreditation of courses leading to the eligibility to register with the AHCS PSA accredited register. Lizanne’s clinical background is in Audiology, and she has worked in the NHS as an audiologist and currently balances her role in the AHCS with a lecturing position in Higher Education. She has been involved in the accreditation of courses since 2011 and fulfilled a range of roles in both professional and regulatory organisations since then. She is passionate about promoting and developing Healthcare Science and the different specialisms. Lizanne has a keen interest in the development of the professions and her PhD focused on the experience of becoming and being an audiology professional in the United Kingdom
