Exciting Opportunity: Chair of the Academy for Healthcare Science
The Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) seeks a new Chair to succeed the current successful post-holder upon their retirement. This is a pivotal leadership role requiring strategic vision, integrity, and influence across the healthcare science sector.
We are looking for a candidate with substantial board-level experience and a strong commitment to healthcare science. The Chair will lead the AHCS Board, ensuring effective governance, strategic oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
About the Role
Term of Office Fixed-Term (3 years) – Home-based with occasional travel
Time commitment – Minimum 6 days per month
Remuneration – £30,000 + Expenses
Closing date – Midnight 5th December 2025

Role start – 24th April 2026
