Patient Safety Watch host survey on interventions which have improved patient safety

Patient Safety Watch is gathering insights from healthcare professionals, leads and managers on which interventions have improved patient safety in NHS hospitals. ͏ ͏ ͏

Please see the message below from Patient Safety Watch on how to get involved.

What’s the problem?

Too often, patient safety challenges are tackled in isolation—leading to duplicated efforts and missed opportunities to learn from what works. We want to understand the full range of interventions being used, and—crucially—which have been effective in practice.

How can you help?

We’re looking to hear from anyone who has been involved in designing or delivering patient safety improvements in NHS hospital settings—whether as a clinician, manager, safety lead, or project contributor.

We’re particularly interested in projects focused on:

  • Falls prevention
  • Pressure ulcer reduction
  • Medication safety during care transitions (e.g. moving a patient from A&E to a ward)

We are also interested in your views about potential ways information about effective patient safety interventions could be shared.

Take part in our short survey on the Thiscovery platform and help contribute to meaningful change.
