Race & Health Observatory unveils new interactive Health Action Resource Platform

The NHS Race and Health Observatory (RHO) has launched a new free-to-access platform, the Health Action Resource Platform (HARP), designed to help healthcare organisations understand and tackle ethnic health inequalities.

HARP consolidates NHS performance data, such as key condition outcomes and demographic indicators, into a searchable interface. Users can explore disparities by condition, region, ethnicity, and deprivation and is accessible via www.rho-harp.org.

In addition to data dashboards, the platform provides practical tools including case studies, videos, and guides, supporting users in measuring inequalities and informing local action plans.

HARP places special emphasis on areas with pronounced ethnic disparities, such as maternal and neonatal health, as well as mental health, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and sickle cell disorder, providing focused insights to guide improvement efforts.
