Professional Standards Authority – response to Government consultation on reforms to healthcare professional regulation

Professional Standards Authority have now published their final response to the Government consultation on legislation to bring Physician Associates (PAs) and Anaesthesia Associates (AAs) into regulation under the General Medical Council (GMC). Their response sets out in detail recommendations for improving this legislation, which will be used as a template for reform across the sector.
