The Department of Health and Social Care has issued guidance for people who provide close contact services where required for medical reasons or prescribed by a qualified practitioner. Where applicable, practitioners should also take into account any guidance issued by their healthcare regulator or a relevant professional body. The guidance applies to those working in England and complementary guidance is available for Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
