Healthcare Science Week 10 – 19 March 2017
Healthcare Science Week is being held as part of British Science Week from 10 – 19 March 2017.
A joint letter from NHS Employers and NHS England has been sent to all Lead Healthcare Scientists asking them to organise events in their trusts throughout Healthcare Science Week to:
- share the wonder of Healthcare Science;
- promote Healthcare Science as a career across schools, colleges and universities;
- raise public awareness of the contributions Healthcare Scientists make to the NHS.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved:
- Download the HCS Week Poster to display in your departments.
- Promote Healthcare Science in your Trust. There are a wealth of resources available in the ambassador toolkit;
- Become a Healthcare Science Ambassador;
- Spread the word on the variety of roles available within Healthcare Science;
- Tweet about what you are working on and how you are playing your part #HCSWeek17
- Join the Twibbon Campaign @WeHCScientists by adding the HCS twibbon to your twitter profile.
- Add your events to the Healthcare Science Week Calendar
NHS England want to feature as much of your work as possible through the CSO bulletin, upcoming blog and twitter account so please do share this email far and wide to help make Healthcare Science Week 2017 the best yet!
