Professional bodies come together for Academy Professional Council

The next meeting of the Academy for Healthcare Science Professional Council will be held on 21 July from 10:30-1pm at 12 Coldbath Square, London EC1R 5HL

This meeting will be a significant moment in time for the Academy and our ‘one clear voice’ work. Given the extent of changes within the health service and the ongoing pressures around service reform it will be important to secure the support of all the organisations across Healthcare Science, so that the profession can find innovative ways of being able to undertake activity. If we can get this right and secure effective joint working this will generate more opportunities to have an impact. For more information contact

Help to map the communication networks across the profession

The AHCS is asking professional bodies, organisations and networks across Healthcare Science to complete a short survey about their communications channels to map the extent of these networks and communications what should be done to strengthen the existing communications and the connections between organisations.

Please share this amongst your professional networks and encourage fellow scientists to take the 2 minutes to complete the survey so we can get as full a picture as possible.
