The Academy has responded toResearch & Innovation Strategy, setting out the importance of Healthcare Science in delivering innovation, adoption and research in the health and care system. The response sets out three clear priorities for improvement:
- Specific time within staff contracts for research and innovation
- Formal hybrid job roles that combine frontline service delivery with research and adoption work
- Co-ordinated suppport for professional learning networks
