AHCS and IPEM come together to drive Physical Sciences Quality Improvement Programme (PSQIP)

The Academy for Healthcare Science and the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) have come together to develop the PSQIP programme. The aim is to develop and implement service accreditation standards for Physical Sciences and Engineering (PSE) services.

Revised Council meeting – and Academy engagement programme continues

Unfortunately very few people were able to make it through the St Jude storm to the Council meeting arranged for October 28. This means that we have deferred the key items at the next Council meeting at 2pm on November 27, which is likely to be a busy and packed agenda.

The broader Academy engagement programme continues apace, with Directors continuing their series of meetings with individual professional bodies and key organisations and individuals across Healthcare Science. In November the Academy already has planned meetings with the Welsh Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser Dr Owen Crawley and his team, the Institute of Biomedical Science, The Royal College of Pathologists and the National School for Healthcare Science amongst others.
