The judges praised the programme for “The magnificent way they showed leadership in taking people with them in developing the programme. They involved patients and staff in developing it and brought with them the professions and the academic institutions. A great win!”

This award is a tribute not only to everyone within the Modernising Scientific Careers team who have worked so hard to bring the programme to life, but also to the the many Healthcare Science professionals, patients, academics and others who have contributed to the development of the programme.

Thanks must also go to the many hundreds of people up and down the country – trainees, NHS staff, academics and support staff – who are delivering Modernising Scientific Careers on a day-to-day basis, improving the quality and professionalism of the Healthcare Science workforce to help deliver better outcomes for patients.

Well done everyone!
