As a UK-wide organisation, The Academy is delighted to come to Scotland and welcome colleagues from the four countries in exploring and shaping this next phase in our professions’ development.

The Congress Programme will set the scene with cutting edge issues around healthcare and then offer the opportunity to articulate Healthcare Science’s vision at regional, national and international levels.

The Academy’s strategy will be largely influenced by its stakeholders, the professional organisations – we need to understand how that strategy should be implemented by planning the tactics through masterclasses with experts and debates about current issues. This will begin to sketch out an approach to delivering “One Voice” for the profession.

After last year’s successful poster exhibition, this year’s invitation to present will be around the Congress’s key themes as well as hot topics in healthcare. Details of the poster sessions and how to submit an abstract are in the AHCS Poster Competition flyer.

Abstracts must be received by 9 November 2015 and sent by email to . All abstracts will be reviewed by appropriate specialists appointed by the Congress Committee. Corresponding authors will be notified of acceptance by 12 November 2015.

Our colleagues at fatBuzz have created an excellent Congress flyer – see here for the full version.
