Healthcare scientists recognised in Queens Birthday Honours 2015

Congratulations to those Healthcare Science across the UK who were recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2015.

Rachel Cutting, Principal Embryologist at Centre for Reproductive Medicine and Fertility, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, was awarded the MBE for For services to Infertility Treatment.

Sue Knowles, Paediatric & Educational Audiologist at Kingston Hosptital NHS Trust received the MBE for Services to Child Health.

Joan Jones, Quality and Regulatory Compliance manager, Welsh Blood Service, received the MBE for Services to Blood Transfusion in Wales and the UK.

Dr Tim Wyatt, Consultant Clinical Microbiologist and former scientific adviser to the Chief Medical Officer for Northern Ireland, recieved the OBE for Services to the Advancement of Healthcare Science and the community in Northern Ireland.
