Healthcare Science National Conference: NDP 2015 – Contribution is Key 19 June 2015
The 2015 National Event for Healthcare Science runs with the strap line NDP 2015 “Contribution is Key”. Why? 5% of the NHS workforce are Healthcare Scientists and are involved in 80% of all diagnostics and treatments. So, the contribution the Healthcare Science workforce makes can shape and influence future services. Their event is a great opportunity to network, learn from other areas of scientific service delivery, and to engage in conversation around the National Delivery Plan for Healthcare Science and areas of policy. Above all, it is a collective opportunity to celebrate and recognise the work of Healthcare Science colleagues in NHS Scotland.
The speakers and workshops will discuss working at strategic level, and will include Michael Kellett, Director of Healthcare Strategy with the Scottish Government and national leads. The programme includes National Strategy with David Holland from Keele University, Project Lead at the Keele University benchmarking service, and Dr Sarah L Mitchell, Programme Manager, AHP National Delivery Plan, and Angela Cowan GE healthcare Finnamore who will be speaking on – the 2 year on experience of the AHP National Delivery Plan.
