Have your say on HCPC registration fee consultation

 The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is consulting on proposals to increase the fees they charge for registration.

They are proposing a £10 increase (an increase of 12.5%) to the annual renewal fee. This increases the renewal fee from £80 to £90. They are proposing similar increases to most of the other fees they charge. They are also consulting on amending our Rules to allow them to operate more efficiently whilst providing better customer service to their registrants.

They are reviewing their current fee levels earlier than anticipated due to the Government announcing changes on how the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) will be funded in the future and to allow them to continue to function effectively as a regulator.

If the proposals are agreed, the registration fees would be increased from 1 August 2015. Existing registrants would pay the new renewal fee the next time that they renew their registration.
